Atomrobot Showcases Embodied AI at 2025 Yunqi Conference
In the golden autumn season, the 2025 Yunqi Conference was grandly held at Yunqi Town by West Lake, Hangzhou, under the theme “AI-Cloud Integration · Carbon-Silicon Symbiosis”, attracting over 2,000 guests from more than 50 countries.
On this platform showcasing cutting-edge artificial intelligence achievements, the 4th China Robot Yunqi Forum 2025, co-hosted by the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Alliance and Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group, successfully convened. Atomrobot, the creator of Tianjin’s first humanoid robot, shared important insights on the commercialization path of embodied intelligence at the forum.
Yunqi Conference: High-End Platform for AI-Industry Integration
The conference featured three main forums and more than 110 thematic sessions, covering 40,000 square meters of exhibition space and showcasing the latest results in AI, computing technologies, and frontier applications. Over 500 companies presented 3,500 products. At the Frontier Application Pavilion, visitors experienced projects such as robot soccer, robot dog racing, AI glasses, and robotic arm control, providing a hands-on understanding of how embodied intelligence is transitioning from concept to practical use.
The event also introduced an “AI Super Exchange”, offering enterprise-level AI products a platform for display and roadshows to directly connect with demand-side users. This mechanism provided valuable technology-to-market opportunities for innovative companies like Atomrobot.
Robot Forum: Focusing on Embodied Intelligence Commercialization
As a key part of the conference, the 4th China Robot Yunqi Forum focused on “The Era of Embodied Intelligence: Defining the Next Productivity Paradigm”, exploring the strategic field of embodied intelligence for future industrial development. Hosted by Zhang Huanxi, Secretary-General of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Alliance, the forum gathered academic representatives including Prof. Chen Tao (Fudan University) and Prof. Wang Jin (Zhejiang University), as well as industry leaders from Atomrobot, Youbot, Songying Tech, Leju Robotics, and others.
During a roundtable discussion on “Commercialization Path and Market Prospects of Embodied Intelligence” proposed by Prof. Wang Jin, Atomrobot CMO Shi Fengcai shared the company’s deep insights. He noted that embodied
intelligence is entering a critical stage from laboratory research to industrial application, with industrial sectors expected to lead the market breakthrough.
“Embodied intelligence is not meant to replace traditional industrial robots but to fill capability gaps,” Shi explained. “Current production floors use mobile robots and fixed-trajectory pick-and-place robots, but manual intervention is still needed when items fall on the floor. Atomrobot’s design philosophy is to create intelligent assistants capable of handling such flexible tasks.”
Atomrobot’s humanoid robot “Tianbing-1” has already demonstrated application potential across multiple industries. Innovatively incorporating parallel mechanisms in the waist and neck, Tianbing-1 can support 200 kg at the waist and 5 kg at the arms, offering exceptional motion flexibility and load-bearing capability.
Shi emphasized that the commercialization of embodied intelligence should follow a “scenario-driven, iterative” principle, suggesting that the industry should start with specific niche applications, demonstrate technological value by solving real-world pain points, and gradually expand the application scope.
Technical Foundation: Atomrobot’s Innovation Strength
Atomrobot’s ability to present at a high-profile platform like the Yunqi Conference stems from its deep technological foundation. Since its founding in 2013, the company has focused on high-speed parallel robots, high-speed SCARA robots, proprietary controllers, integrated drive-control technologies, and vision systems.
Over more than a decade, Atomrobot has maintained the top market share for parallel robots for five consecutive years, exporting products to over 20 countries and regions, including Europe, the Americas, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. The company has served more than 8,000 clients, including CATL, BYD, Mengniu, Master Kong, Shuanghui Group, and Tongrentang.
In July 2025, Atomrobot officially launched its Wuxi production base, marking a key step from being a “single-product champion” to a multi-category robot solution provider. With an investment of nearly 20 million RMB, the base features 10,000 square meters of modern facilities, with peak annual capacity of 5,000 collaborative palletizing robots and 2,000 parallel robots.
On the R&D front, Atomrobot’s core team includes graduates from Beihang University and Tianjin University, working closely with Prof. Huang Tian’s team at Tianjin University. The company independently develops robot controllers, control systems, vision systems, and core algorithms, providing a solid foundation for innovation in embodied intelligence.
With the national “AI+” initiative advancing, embodied intelligence—enabling physical human-robot interaction and autonomous decision-making—has become a strategic global technology frontier. Atomrobot is seizing this opportunity, actively
embracing embodied intelligence and participating in ecosystem co-construction, injecting new momentum into high-quality development.
