A New Chapter Unfolds! Atomrobot Wuxi Base Officially Inaugurated, Driving Yangtze River Delta Smart Manufacturing with “Palletizing Power”
On July 22, celebratory cannons roared at the grand opening of Atomrobot’s Wuxi factory in Huishan High-Tech Zone. The event was witnessed by government officials from Huishan High-Tech Zone Party Committee, investment partners including Pu Jiong (GM of Wuxi Huicui Hengyi Fund), Zhang Yi (GM of JingShui Lake Capital), Liu Yunlu (GM of Siasun Investment), Fang Jian (Chairman of Wuxi Jintou); industry partners such as Liu Jingzhou (Chairman of Jiangsu Puhua), Cai Tiehua (Chairman of Nanjing Ganjiyuan), Zheng Bocun (Chairman of Shanghai Sanrui Advanced Materials); industry experts including Zhang Huanxi (Secretary General of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance), Qu Weixin (Secretary General of Suzhou Robotics Industry Association), Sun Xiangzheng (Deputy Secretary General of Tianjin Robotics Industry Association), Luo Sina (GM of Gaogong Robotics), Zhao Yong (GM of China Robot Network), Yu Juncheng (GM of Robot Online), and Zhu Shishui (Head of Rui Robotics Division).
With nearly RMB 20 million investment, the 10,000㎡ Wuxi base was officially launched. This marks not only a milestone in Atomrobot’s 13-year journey in intelligent manufacturing but also a key step forward for independent innovation and large-scale growth of the Yangtze River Delta robotics industry.
Government-Enterprise Synergy
Building a “Bridgehead” for Independent Technology
Zhang Renhong, Secretary of Huishan High-Tech Zone Party Committee, delivered a speech reaffirming the government’s support for enterprises’ growth.
Atomrobot Founder & CEO, Song Tao, underscored the company’s commitment to Wuxi with solid numbers:
“Within the 10,000㎡ Wuxi base, RMB 10 million has been invested into CNC
machining centers and SMT lines, directly targeting the independent R&D of core bottleneck components such as reducers and controllers. In the future, the annual output here will reach 5,000 cobot palletizers and 2,000 delta robots, laying a solid foundation for domestic substitution.”
In the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Atomrobot Chairman Liu Songtao joined hands with key investors and industry partners. As golden scissors cut through the ribbon and fireworks lit up the sky, the dual-hub integrating “technology R&D + mass production” was officially inaugurated.
Guests then toured the factory, witnessing first-hand Atomrobot’s technological core: cobot palletizers performing material sorting with precision, micron-level core components shining with innovation, and fully self-developed intelligent production lines sketching out the future of “Made in China, Smart in China.”
Song Tao emphasized:
“With full mastery from algorithms to hardware, we have the confidence to deliver world-class products and services, winning dignity and honor for Chinese brands in the global robotics arena.”
Innovation Breakthroughs
Full-Stack Self-R&D Products Tackle Industry Pain Points
At 11:20 am, celebrations continued at Wyndham Garden Hotel Wuxi with an industry forum themed “Innovation & Collaboration.”
Zhang Huanxi (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance) highlighted cross-regional collaboration:
“The complete industry chain of the Yangtze River Delta and the R&D strengths of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei are being deeply integrated through enterprises like Atomrobot.”
Qu Weixin (Suzhou Robotics Association) added from a regional perspective:
“Atomrobot’s presence will accelerate the integration of R&D outcomes with local manufacturing scenarios, forming a closed-loop ecosystem of ‘R&D–Production–Application.’”
The highlight of the celebration was the product launch. Atomrobot unveiled its new cobot palletizer and Humanoid Robot, presented by four core leaders — Wang Zhichao (Product Design Director), Ding Yujian (Channel Development Director), Li Yanhua (R&D Director), and Wang Hao (Structure Design Lead).
The launch ignited excitement with breakthroughs in design and performance,
showcasing Atomrobot’s ambition to set new standards for Chinese robotics.
This was followed by a signing & authorization ceremony, where strategic partners such as Wenzhou Brothers Machinery, Suzhou Yuefanda, and Foshan Ruipuhua officially joined hands with Atomrobot, forming a dual-driven model of “technology output + market feedback.”
Strategic Significance
Building New Growth Momentum for the Robotics Industry
From the factory inauguration by Taihu Lake to the industry resonance at Wyndham Hotel, the launch of Atomrobot’s Wuxi base goes beyond a corporate milestone — it reflects the growth path of China’s robotics industry.
For Atomrobot, it marks the leap from “single champion” to a diversified robotics solutions provider. With a 13-year foundation in delta robots, the company has expanded into collaborative palletizing and SCARA robots. The Wuxi base, with its core component R&D and production capacity, strengthens the foundation to become a “national name card” for Chinese industrial robotics.
For the region, the base injects new momentum into Huishan and Wuxi’s smart manufacturing landscape. By attracting upstream and downstream partners, it accelerates the formation of a complete robotics ecosystem — from core parts to system integration — supporting the transition from “Made in Wuxi” to “Smart in Wuxi.”
For the industry, it signals the breakthrough logic of China’s robotics sector: under policy guidance, with enterprises as the innovation core and collaboration as the development path, China is rapidly moving from “follower” to “competitor” and “leader” in global robotics.
As the celebration drew to a close, a new chapter began quietly. On this fertile ground of Wuxi, Atomrobot will continue to generate powerful breakthroughs and bold innovations. With government-enterprise collaboration and ecosystem co-building, this Yangtze River Delta hub of AI + robotics is poised to become a cornerstone of China’s intelligent manufacturing rise — and to offer a unique “China Solution” to global industrial transformation.
