Smart Cartoning, Upgraded Iteration — Atomrobot PT30 Cobot Palletizer Officially Launched
Since its establishment in 2013, Atomrobot has remained committed to independent R&D, focusing on breakthroughs in core industrial robot technologies. Over the years, the company has launched a series of robot products that empower production lines in food, pharmaceutical, 3C electronics, daily chemical, and other industries, serving more than 300 enterprise customers.
While building a strong market presence with reliable products, the company has also adhered to its “customer-first” business philosophy — providing premium services, maintaining close interaction, and responding swiftly to client needs.
Based on in-depth research into customer demands and numerous successful smart sorting and cartoning workstation cases, and with close collaboration among the R&D center, project team, and design department,
on November 1, Atomrobot officially launched the PT30 cobot palletizer, designed for downstream cartoning processes, further enriching its product line and meeting full-scenario demands for cartoning units.
PT30 cobot palletizer — Small in Size, Big in Performance
As an innovative product backed by Atomrobot’s brand essence and accumulated application experience, the PT30 inherits the leading quality of the D2 series while delivering comprehensive upgrades in materials, footprint, structure, payload, workspace, speed, intelligence, and quality.
From the outset, PT30 was designed with improvements in industrial design, hardware systems, and software applications, aiming for smarter, lighter, and more adaptive performance.
It features a brand-new overhead mounting structure, a maximum payload of 30kg, and a workspace of 600×600mm, enabling enterprises to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in downstream cartoning lines.
Industrial Design
- Innovative overhead installation structure, breaking away from the industry limitation of floor-mounted palletizers, maximizing space utilization within limited areas.
- Use of carbon fiber materials, ensuring lightweight construction and a futuristic tech-industrial aesthetic.
- Tailored for mid-to-large payload, customized, and batch production enterprises with strong demand for cobot palletizers.
The industry-first overhead mounting design reduces floor space, eases line layout, and delivers lightweight, flexible, and user-friendly operation. It acts as a “booster” for integrated smart operations in both upstream and downstream processes, with significant market potential.
Hardware System
- Drive System:
- J1, J2, and J3 axes are powered by high-end domestic servo motors, offering low vibration, fast response, and high precision at a competitive price.
- New stator splicing technology lowers heat generation, improves electromagnetic properties, and enhances efficiency and reliability.
- Optimized rotor/stator design reduces torque ripple significantly.
- Advanced manufacturing techniques derived from Japan reduce motor size by 20–30% compared with similar domestic products.
- A 32-bit DSP processor with advanced algorithms enables 2kHz speed response frequency and minimal position deviation, improving dynamic tracking.
- Transmission Mechanism:
- J1 and J2 axes use compact, shock-resistant RV reducers with high precision and low vibration.
- J3 axis uses a harmonic reducer, with a simple and compact three-part structure (wave generator, flexspline, circular spline), enabling lightweight and compact performance.
Software Applications
To win customer trust quickly, a “smart brain” is key. The PT30 is powered by AtomMotion 2.0, Atomrobot’s second-generation self-developed control system.
- Built on an X86 architecture with Intel processors for fast computing and real-time response.
- Delivers strong compatibility and performance through full software-hardware integration.
- Enables real-time perception, judgment, positioning, and precise multi-angle grasping/placing, ensuring faster, more stable, and more accurate operations.
- Compatible not only with Atomrobot’s own robots but also with other brands, expanding the ecosystem and empowering industrial partners to gain technological leadership and competitive advantage.
Multi-Scenario Applications
With the growth of food, daily chemical, pharmaceutical, and auto parts industries, cobot palletizers are increasingly vital. They not only improve accuracy and efficiency but also reduce labor intensity.
The PT30 is particularly suited for medium-to-small payload, long-stroke cartoning and palletizing workstations, widely used for cartons, plastic crates, bags, and more.
Example: Food Industry (Canned Goods)
Outlook
Moving forward, Atomrobot will continue to explore segmented markets and customer needs, considering design, manufacturing, packaging, transport, and after-sales in a holistic way.
The new PT30 enriches the company’s product line beyond parallel robots in packaging, sorting, and handling, by addressing downstream palletizing automation. This allows Atomrobot to offer more solutions to both existing and new customers, boosting line efficiency, reducing costs, and strengthening competitiveness.
As a company with full-stack capabilities — from independent OS development to industrial robot design, R&D, manufacturing, and sales — Atomrobot remains committed to customer-first values and independent R&D.
Through continuous technological breakthroughs and iterative product development, the company will keep empowering production lines and fulfilling its mission: “Technology to free your hands.”
